My lily

This spring I took a workout class and at the end the teacher gave each of us a bulb to plant. I was so excited about mine. I picked out a pot, got some soil, planted it and some other stuff on my front porch. I took pictures of it periodically. Here they are...



















It made me so happy to see it blossom:) I had to put an aquaglobe in it towards the end because it was getting so hot. Those things really do work. I'm now using them in my petunias. I had them off to a great start but i should've brought them inside or on the screened porch during the heat wave because the dahlias got scorched:( here is before...


And then I took the pink out and gave it some tlc and here she is now...


So full and pretty:)

It has been a super fun year so far and it's almost my birthday! For my birthday I will be celebrating in Honduras on a mission trip with ChristWay our church. Below are some pics of us packing our supplies.

Petsmart puppy training class

This is a video from the end of puppy class today. I was in the middle of PetSmart. Michael was talking to the others in the class and they were all in the 'pen area.' I did not have a treat. They are so smart! Next week is graduation- we have had 8 weeks of training at PetSmart. They can now sit, stay, lay down, roll over, come and jump up. We are working on shake hands and some others. I want to enroll them in the next level so I can get them certified as therapy dogs. I would love to take them to T.C. Thompson or a nursing home and have them make someone else's day as bright as they make my days.

We're married.

This is my fave wedding photo from Michelle Castle- *to see her site click her name*.
The other day, I found out about this photo-editing website called picnik.com- my niece Kayla had all these cute scrapbooking pages uploaded to facebook. So, I went to the site and you can have a free membership or pay $25 per year to have a 'premium' membership.
It's awesome.
This is the trial photo I uploaded. I just did this one effect called Lomo-ish and then I used a font to write on the bottom. Love it. I am going to stay up and join now I think-
