HOLY MOLY.

I am soo sorry I have been such a slacker lately. I have not posted since JUNE!! Where does the time go? Well, I have been a little busy. I guess I will have to make a resolution to be a better blogger:)
Well, Lets recap:
June 2009 we went to San Diego to see Chris Ashley and the boys- Madison wasn't born until after we left. We went to SeaWorld, Coronado Beach and while Michael golfed the boys and I went to Oceanside, CA and ate at Ruby's Diner on the end of a pier.

We also went to a Padre's game and Jack and Kortne came down and we shopped, golfed and ate alot:)

In July, I went to Destin to make plans for our wedding. Mom, Kayla, Jessi and Izabella went with me and we had a great time.

In August, I went on a Girl's Napa Valley weekend extravaganza celebrating Tara and Kortne turning 30, my 28th, my Bachelorette and Suzanne taking the bar exam.

In September, we had Engagement Parties-- one on Lookout and one in Soddy and Bridal Showers in Smyrna, McMinnville and Chattanooga- wow- that was fun! We recieved so many wonderful things!
In October, we got Married! I think that occassion calls for its very own entry....

Summer Time!!!!

Well, it has been a nonstop summer so far and last weekend I decided to get a little pool and let the pups try it out.

They really liked it. And they looked like drowned rats when they got out....

We also went to a really nice party on Lookout Mountain this weekend and had a GREAT time. Christian(pictured) and Brad were fabulous hosts and it was the best party I have ever been to from music to food to location to decorations, etc. etc.

I know I look prego in the above pic but I promise I am not. the dress kept sliding down(wonder why) and thats just a bad angle...anyhoo...

We are leaving this weekend to head out to San Diego and see Chris, Ashley, Jake, Ashton and MADISON GRACE:) I can't wait. I have never been and I am very excited to see them, and walk Ashley around alot so she will go into labor and we can see Miss Madison.


I have recently started working at a Pediatric Dental Office in Cleveland and although it's VERY busy I really love it. When they have the Open House I will post pics- the decor is AMAZING.

Mom and I went to try on dresses a few weeks ago and the top two are...which one do you think?

"Sterling" and "Reese" by Maggie Soterro- both have a beachy feel and low cut in the back.

Okay that the latest. I will work on doing a weekly (or more) post!

It's been a while- but Hannah tagged me so here goes...

I was just 'tagged' by my friend Hannah who has the best blog in the world. It's the only one I read regularly because she is so funny and makes the best stories out of what happens to her in her life. She's hilarious and awesome and she has the most handsome little boy. *Danced to "She's a Brick House," "You Make me Wanna Shout!" and "Sexual Healing":)
*Ate a Krystal- Beth had them at her reception really late in the night- perfect. BUT I did NOT drink a coke. that is my goal to not drink them until 7-27-09(my birthday and 3 months from when I decided not to drink them)
*Had a Pomegranate Mojito at Big River- its my favorite drink
*Kissed my fiance'
*Hung out on my new patio furniture- even though it was gross outside we have a wonderful screened in porch

8 things I wish I could do
*Speak another language- Italian or French would be the top ones
*Save money- I save a little but I splurge ALOT
*Have more patience....
*Not worry about little things like being a couple minutes late or having a messy closet
*Type without looking at the keyboard
*Resist thin mints
*Run longer- I can run for about 10 minutes without stopping or about half a mile- I need to work on my endurance
*Have long pretty nails that don't peel with no ugly cuticles

February Fun at Nana's!

The pups have had a great weekend playing at their Nana's house before Chris, Ashley and Jake and Ashton move to San Diego. Here are some pics of their fave things- chewy sticks (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) and chasing each other...and some of Jake and Ashton playing their ps2:)

Seriously. Where do the days go?

I can't believe it has already been over a month since I have posted anything.

I guess we have been busy with the new furbabies- who we named Carter and Cash. They are the cutest little things. We picked them up on December 16th. Michael's 33rd Birthday was the 15th and we went to Provino's for his free birthday dinner with some of his closest friends. Then, the next night we got our babies.

We took them to the vet the next day because the breeder told us the other litter's owners told him their pup had worms. Well ours got a clean bill of health and Carter(the big sister) weighed 2.8lbs and Cash was 2.3lbs. We took them for their booster shots yesterday and they had each gained about a pound. They are very sore on their little shoulders and squeal really loud if you touch or if they roll over on it:(
So, we had them for about a week and the Christmas madness began.

We visited the Swanson's in Tullahoma on the 23rd to see thier new baby Reif- soo cute and tiny and also got to hang out with the Fogartys.

Then, on Christmas Eve, we went to Murfreesboro to my moms to drop off the pups, went to Nashville to see my adopted mom, Danna and Sarah, my best friend since 2nd grade and visited and ate with the families. Then, went to Red Lobster with Sally, Michael, and Melissa, a Christmas eve tradition for like 10 yrs now. Finally, we went to my Dad's to hang out for a little while.
On Christmas morning, we drove to McMinnville to my cousin Kori and her husband Lucas's new home for all my mom's side to celebrate. Then we came back to Mom's then I got to go pick up Izabella and go see all my Dad's family at his mom's house in Smyrna. It was so busy and hectic but so great to see all the family.
The next morning, we got up early and drove up to Jeffersonville, IN(near Louisville, KY) to see Michaels sister and her kids and his parents. We played twister and the boys got to go pick out their own gifts from ToysRUs.
On the 27th we packed the furbabies up again and drove back to Chattanooga to go to Beth and Brian's Bar Shower. It was so much fun and the great end to a very hectic couple of days.
For New Years, we had a few couples over to eat drink and play guitar hero and hang out with the puppies. The next morning Michael left to travel to New Orleans to watch Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. I spent a few days at home with my babies and trying to get some chores done.
This week, I started working at in Ooltewah at Tedford Family Dentistry Wed- Fri, (along with still working in Soddy Daisy Mon-Tues).

The new office had their open house on Thursday night and I brought the furbabies and they were a BIG hit:) I am so mad that I forgot to take pictures of it. We had so many friends come by and see us. It was nice.
Well, I think that catches me up on the past month of missed posts and I guess I should make a resolution to post more frequently. I will do my best. Below are some recent photos.

Puppies!!! Help us name them!

So, I have been wanting a dog for FOREVER now.

I always had dogs growing up and now that we finally have a place of our own, I REALLY wanted a little furbaby.

We have been looking at adopting, rescuing, buying and just had bad timing or whatever.

Well, yesterday when we were looking through the paper we saw 2 ads for maltese- thats what Michael wanted (I wanted Cavalier King Charles but they are expensive and shed appearently...) but then he googled a maltipoo and we found a guy in Cleveland. The picture on his website was so cute. They looked fake, like stuffed animals. So, we went 'just to look' and we saw the cute little guys thats pics were on the internet- ready to go- 3 little white and tan puffs ball. So I played with them and we talked with the breeder Gregg- really nice guy. I was really focused on the puppies so I have no clue what Gregg really said I just know I heard him talk and every once and a while I would respond.

In a seperate kennel were 2 little darker puff balls and Gregg said they were not ready yet even though they were a little bit bigger. They were a brother and sister and the only two in the litter. They are so cute! and according to Gregg the girl is spunky(she has a white paw) and the boy is a little more lazy. They chewed my finger and snuggled with me a little. So, Michael, who does nothing 'half way' says thats what he wants- both of them! We put our deposit down and we will be able to visit this week and take them home nest week! YAY!

We can't wait to bring them home he said sometime the week of December 15th(Michael's birthday!)

Help us find some cute names for them. So far we like Carter and Cash and Martini and Rossi...what do you think?

Thankful for my family.

Last Sunday, the 23rd, Michael and I drove to McMinnville to have a big meal with everybody on my mom's side. I am so sad I didn't take a picture- I left my camera in my purse!

Then on Tuesday, Michael's mom hosted Grandma and Grandpa, his Uncle Billy, Aunt Christina and girls Sammi and Amanda, his sister Ashley, her husband Chris and their boys Jake and Ashton all came and stayed until Sunday! We ate everything you can think of! They cooked something new everyday!

On Thursday, my mom and brother DJ came up to eat a great meal with deep fried turkeys(yes, 2!) a country ham and a sugar ham and tons of delish fixins with the rest of the crew.

I was full and lazy and watched the Macy's parade and did a little shopping(and lots of left overeating) on Friday. AND I tried on my first wedding gown!(probably not the best time to try on a dress when you've done nothing but eat for a week- but I'm still very excited about it- more about that later).

Then, on Saturday I drove to see my dad and had ANOTHER delicious feast at his house. I also got to see sweet Izabella(and she brushed her teeth for her DanDan). And she blew kisses:)

I drove back to Chattanooga Saturday night just in time to make Snowman soup(hot chocolate) and bake some Gingerbread cookies with all the kiddos.

I am so thankful for everyone and I loved all the yummy food and I especially loved getting to see my family!
