Happy 2010

I FINALLY figured out the mobile photo uploading! YAY!!! This pic was taken after UT lost the Peach Bowl- now know as the Chik-fil-a Bowl. The Volunteers faced the Virginia Tech Hokies and lost:( The game was soo much fun. We went with our friends and diagonal neighbors Craig and Wendy Brown. We made reservations for the Westin-which was a beautiful hotel downtown. There were 10000's of fans and after the game we celebrated in the lobby bar until just before the ball dropped. We went up to the room on the 51st floor to watch the ball drop and got to see fireworks being shot off all over the city- it was AWESOME!

I am still having trouble uploading pics from my camera's memory card but I will continue to work those kinks out.

1st mobile post

While I am waiting on my oil to get changed I decided to play with the mobile blogger.
This photo is from trees in front on the Opryland Hotel. We drove to look at lights after Thankmas. Thankmas is dinner the second Saturday of December with the Holland family. We ate at the Omni Hut- the ABSOLUTE best restaurant in Smyrna no matter how many they get:)

Maybe next year we will go inside the hotel and walk through all the new stuff!

Holidays 2009

In November, we hosted Thanksgiving at our house- it was soo great! Michael's family did most of the cooking and I made several desserts and sides- it was waaay too much food- next year we will have to be sure to make more people come and eat! Here is a pic of Michael cutting- not carving the turkey- which was deeep fried by Grampa Plunk. Izabella Loved Madison....

This was our first snow! It was in mid December....it snowed from about 7am til 9am then it all melted. But not before I ran out in my jammies, coat and galoshes to snap a few shots;) Later that night, we went to a few holiday parties and Michael and I got all dressed up! This was at the Ankar's before we headed out in our limo to party!

Weathersby Wedding!

October 10th, 2009 we got married in Destin, Florida. The weather was warm and sunny and our family and a few friends came for the beach ceremony. It was a wonderful day! We had a great wedding planner that made everything beautiful and a great photographer that captured stunning memories--Michelle Castle Photography- she has a blog and she is amazing!

HOLY MOLY.

I am soo sorry I have been such a slacker lately. I have not posted since JUNE!! Where does the time go? Well, I have been a little busy. I guess I will have to make a resolution to be a better blogger:)
Well, Lets recap:
June 2009 we went to San Diego to see Chris Ashley and the boys- Madison wasn't born until after we left. We went to SeaWorld, Coronado Beach and while Michael golfed the boys and I went to Oceanside, CA and ate at Ruby's Diner on the end of a pier.

We also went to a Padre's game and Jack and Kortne came down and we shopped, golfed and ate alot:)

In July, I went to Destin to make plans for our wedding. Mom, Kayla, Jessi and Izabella went with me and we had a great time.

In August, I went on a Girl's Napa Valley weekend extravaganza celebrating Tara and Kortne turning 30, my 28th, my Bachelorette and Suzanne taking the bar exam.

In September, we had Engagement Parties-- one on Lookout and one in Soddy and Bridal Showers in Smyrna, McMinnville and Chattanooga- wow- that was fun! We recieved so many wonderful things!
In October, we got Married! I think that occassion calls for its very own entry....

Summer Time!!!!

Well, it has been a nonstop summer so far and last weekend I decided to get a little pool and let the pups try it out.

They really liked it. And they looked like drowned rats when they got out....

We also went to a really nice party on Lookout Mountain this weekend and had a GREAT time. Christian(pictured) and Brad were fabulous hosts and it was the best party I have ever been to from music to food to location to decorations, etc. etc.

I know I look prego in the above pic but I promise I am not. the dress kept sliding down(wonder why) and thats just a bad angle...anyhoo...

We are leaving this weekend to head out to San Diego and see Chris, Ashley, Jake, Ashton and MADISON GRACE:) I can't wait. I have never been and I am very excited to see them, and walk Ashley around alot so she will go into labor and we can see Miss Madison.


I have recently started working at a Pediatric Dental Office in Cleveland and although it's VERY busy I really love it. When they have the Open House I will post pics- the decor is AMAZING.

Mom and I went to try on dresses a few weeks ago and the top two are...which one do you think?

"Sterling" and "Reese" by Maggie Soterro- both have a beachy feel and low cut in the back.

Okay that the latest. I will work on doing a weekly (or more) post!
