FULL of THANKS!

This is just a quick update since the 11 month post, we went to GI doctor and had blood drawn for RAST(allergy) test. I was told everything was in the normal or low range or whatever it is that means she has NO ALLERGIES!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!
So, on Saturday, November 17th, we did ONE OUNCE of WHOLE MILK. Sunday that doubled to 2, then 4oz then 8oz then on Wednesday until today she has been having 28 OUNCES of WHOLE MILK EVERYDAY!
And.
SHE LOVES IT!!
I cannot tell you how much time of my life I have wasted worrying about things I cannot control. Add this to THE TOP of the list. She is doing great. I have to smear her poop on a card tomorrow and take it to GI dr for test. I know its going to show no stool but I'm going to take it. I may frame it. Hell, I may GUILD it!! We are SO. SO. Over the top thankful for all the prayers and support as we get closer to her first birthday I don't  know how we made it through this first year but looking back it was so amazing to see the miracles and beauty of her life and how she has enriched ours.

For Thanksgiving, we spent two nights at Nana's with Michaels side of the family. It was fun and hilarious and I cant eat anything until Christmas or I'll split my pants....here are some pics:

{welp. It seems I have run out of space with google...Maybe more soon...I have no idea what to do...}

11 months old!

Can I just say that I cannot wait for the first year to be over so I can quit worrying about what to put in her baby book calendar, but I will miss these photo shoots...she is soo hilarious. LOVES climbing stairs. Loves"melting"when you try to pick her up to 'redirect' her from getting into EVERYTHING! Loves to smile and snorts and sniff. Loves to 'love' on her bears and puppy and monkey and now Cash too! She understands and responds to several words: puppy, books, kitchen, cups, bottle, num-nums/bite bites, and more that i know I'm forgetting. She says Da-Da all day every day. She loves picking up the tiniest things off the ground and eating them. She loves playing bashful, starting to get better at waving Hi and Bye. Knows "all finished" in baby sign...We are in countdown mode until her 1st Birthday!!!! AGH!!!!

I could squish her cute little face off everyday. So much love!

10 month update!

Our little cover model is now ten months old! She is such a happy girl (unless you snatch a tiny piece of garbage she picked up off the floor...then she will let you have it) She is always smiling and scrunching her nose and waving and playing bashful and stands and walks around holding onto stuff. Time needs to slow down because I can literally feel it sneaking by too fast. Here are some of her 10 month photos in her chair....

She has been showing no GI problems lately and we are even off Zantac!! hooray!!! She had her flu shot last week and didn't even cry. We go in a few weeks to be tested at the GI doctor to see if she still has an aversion to dairy/soy proteins...I'm constantly praying/worrying about that. Michael is convinced she is fine...I know she is fine now but I don't want to push her little belly if it's not ready... If it IS ready, she will get cake and ice cream at her birthday! WoooHooo!!
XOXO,
D.

busy bees

There are so many things that have been on my mind lately...I want to start by saying this is my personal blog. I don't pretend to live in some fantasy land. BUT I do choose not to post anything negative or anything that might make anybody fell down or sad...or sorry for me. I don't post about arguments or disagreements. I try not to vent. Don't get it twisted. There are lots of tears around here. LOTS. There are dark moments. Filled with doubt. Very sad, disappointing, sucky times. That is one thing that I don't EVER post about. Why would I? I have too much to be thankful for...and proud of. And it's easier to just glaze over the yucky, ugly parts and shine the light on happy cute times. WAY better right?

Life has been moving at warp speed lately. Somebody once said to me that parenthood has long days and fast years. I get it. Sometimes I think "WHEN will I get a break...when will this happen or when will that happen"...then other times I tear up because my little ladybug is growing up and changing too quickly. and she will only be this small, this young, this new...SHE. WILL. NEVER. BE THIS AGE AGAIN. It scares me how fast time evaporates. I have to enjoy it more.

I'm not going to lie. I have had some serious doubts lately. SERIOUS. Fear, sadness, fatigue, irritability but I feel like I am emerging. Not the same as i was before, MAYBE better in some ways, definitely changed... I don't consider myself superficial but the past year or so has made me realize that I do lack a depth. Maybe that comes with age, maybe it comes with experience, maybe it comes with crying your eyes out everyday for weeks. I have always tried to look at the big picture and not get to bent out of shape about little bumps in the road, but when I had AdaReece, I lost track of the difference between big things and little...EVERYTHING was a big thing, OVERWHELMED doesn't begin to cover my sinking feelings. But now, almost 10 months later I feel like I have a better, more even perspective. And isn't that what life, happiness, contentment is all about? Having a good perspective gets you though some tough times. That, and prayer. I have never prayed so much in my life, I realize the power of it and pray all different times of the day. Prayer is another part of my life that was missing before. I am thankful to have always felt loved by my family and always felt the presence of the Lord in my life. Truly, I'm blessed beyond measure.

So, us little weathersBEES are making moves and really starting to enjoy the busy blessed life we live.

XOXO,
D.
